Bklyn Mobile Fingerprinting, LLC provides professional mobile notary services for legal, personal, and business documents. All notarizations are performed in accordance with New York State law and require the signer to appear in person with valid identification.
Jurats (Verification Upon Oath or Affirmation)
A jurat requires the signer to swear or affirm that the contents of a document are true and accurate. The notary will administer an oath or affirmation, and the document must be signed in the notary’s presence.
Jurat notarizations are commonly required for affidavits, sworn statements, and certain court-related documents.
Acknowledgments:
An acknowledgment confirms the identity of the signer and verifies that the document is being signed willingly and voluntarily.
For an acknowledgment, the signer must appear in person before the notary. The document may be signed prior to the appointment, but the signer must formally acknowledge their signature before the notary..
